- Lore -In the twilight of lockdown, 2020, while biting into an unremarkable takeaway pizza, a thought emerged:“There must be more than this.”Fueled by curiosity, an old faithful bread recipe was hastily revived. A cast iron pan was lined with dough, tomato sauce ladled, cheese generously scattered. Baked until golden and crisp — three housemates rejoiced.That moment of curiosity soon became a hunger for knowledge. Like a mad scientist in the kitchen, endless hours were poured into research and experimentation. Videos were devoured — from the great maestros of Naples to the pioneers of UK street food. Flour-dusted hands told the story of countless days of trial and error, shaping pizzas of every kind.Passion ignited ambition. Purpose was found. And from that spark, Bowe’s Pizza was born.With the support of friends and family behind a small operation in Stoke-on-Trent, the first pizza oven was funded. The maiden voyage was set — the first true attempt at Neapolitan pizza. The dough launched onto the hot stone, flames roaring, peel at the ready… a blackened, flaming disc was rescued. A hundred lessons followed.That day marked the beginning of a journey fueled by a simple goal: to create something truly special.Today, Bowe’s Pizza brings together years of passion, time-honoured technique, and an enduring love of the craft — to deliver outstanding pizza and exceptional service, every time.
